Kicking myself for not coming here sooner. It's been on my list forever. We were in the mood for somewhere with cocktails, tacos, and also things my kids would enjoy. The servers were amazing, probably the best service we've gotten anywhere in Española. Chips and salsa were delicious, and not spicy so my daughter enjoyed it. My son loved his burger, my daughter liked her fish and chips, their mom said the al pastor tacos were probably the best she's had in town. My personal pizza birria was excellent too. This will definitely be a regular place for us, looking forward to trying more items and seeing what others recommend.

My sister and I stopped here after a day at Ojo Caliente. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant, but the service was good, and we also had our privacy. The food was good, but not amazing. My favorite was the Quessabirra Plate. We also ordered the Burrito Barbacoa; it was pretty good. I liked the salsa (it had a nice spice level. I also had a Michelada. This was good, well balanced. A good value too!

Yum! I haven't tried New Mexican regional food before, so I went right to that section on the menu and thought the sopapilla sounded delicious. It was! Piping hot. Just the right amount of cheese to make it gooey without being gross. Tender beef inside. They didn't even bring me a knife -- everything was tender to the fork.

Stuffed sopaipilla with chicken and Christmas was amazing! I would def order again. My partner had shrimp chile rellenos. It's relatively small (compared to other dishes), but that's ok for portion control. The deep flavors were so good. Atmosphere is also very good. This place seemed to be busy with a fair amount of locals which is always a good sign.

The food is amazing here. I'd never had chiles en nogada before, and I was clearly missing a lot. One confusing thing about it, though, is that it's listed under chiles rellenos and those come with rice and beans but chiles en nogada doesn't. You don't need them though, it's filling enough on its own. My wife had the quesa birria tacos and she loved those too. Don't get any drinks, or at least not the sangria. If there was any booze in it I would've been surprised, it just tasted like $10 fruit juice. The service was just ok, but I think he might've been new. Still, it's worth going just for the food, especially if you're staying at the little hotel/B&B next to it.
